Geoff and Kris Garrity are the proud owners of Island Fin Poke, Sarasota, Florida. They have two amazing children, Kennedy and Gavin. Geoff has been in the restaurant business for over 20 years and truly has a passion for fresh quality food and culinary experiences. He loves to cook, creates amazing dishes, and is known to be a “foodie.”

Kris has had a successful career in sales and business development. Upon relocating to the Sarasota area, Geoff & Kris dreamt of opening a fast-casual restaurant with a friendly, laid-back vibe. Once they experienced the quality, freshness, and family atmosphere of Island Fin Poke, they knew it was a good fit.

Their vision for Island Fin Poke is to provide fresh quality food and exceptional customer experiences through their valued team members.

Joel is always soo kind, professional and explains everything so well. He provides excellent service. Highly recommend Malia waited on me was very patient, helpful and kind. She was good at explaining the options and sauces and toppings. Also restaurants and restrooms we’re clean and well tended too.

Joel is always so helpful when I get my poke bowls. First of all, I am VERY indecisive so he helps me make all the best choices for my bowl. He knows exactly what I like and it always turns out delicious!! Did I mention that I never remember what I got the time before so he goes through the whole process with me every time. And sometimes I get 2 completely different bowls (1 very spicy and 1 not spicy at all). That’s extra decisions to mak for me and he take time to get both exactly right. Great job Joel and Island Fin Poke. My favorite takeout to get.

You want the best Poke Bowl with REAL and delicious home made sauces …. Look no further … only place I go now for Poke bowl . Always just perfect - staff treats you like family … it’s insane … no clue how they remember all their customers - 5 stars all the way

Stopped by Island Fin Poke for lunch. Was on the way back to Lakeland from a business consultation in Sarasota. Wanted something different so was just looking for a spot along the road and stumbled across this place. Glad I did. Got a poke bowl and all the custom toppings I wanted and it was excellent. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Even got a free small dessert brought to my table. Highly recommend. If ever in town again, I’d come back.

I normally don't leave reviews but this one deserved it. Joel was a very wonderful worker and very professional. the food was outstanding and fresh ingredients. definitely coming back here.

This is the most authentic poke we found, since we’ve moved to the east coast. Multiple bases, great choice of sauces. We will be back again and again.

Meh. By brother was visiting from out of town and figured this was a good time to give this place a try. Wish we hadn't. It's low end fish served Chipotle (some of this, some of that) style into a bowl. I've had quality poke. This is not it. Not that it was spoiled or off. It wasn't. It's just not very good.
