Island Fin’s first Illinois location opened in July 2021. However, Ni and Ed Polzen took over the location in 2023 and are taking their Ohana to the next level by building connections and engaging with the community. The Polzens have organized fundraisers for Orchard Brook Swim and Westmont High School and have also sponsored community initiatives like the Hinsdale Central 5k. They have also connected and extended their partnerships with the surrounding gyms such as Orange Theory, LA Fitness, XSport Fitness, Hustle Fitness, Iron Flag Fitness, BODY20 and CycleBar to promote their store as a deliciously healthy option.
